Like many Hoa Hao Buddhists, Mrs. Nguyễn Hòa An became an adept of Prophet Huỳnh in her youth and was blessed to live at Hoa Hao Holy Land. She was a close friend to Ms. Huỳnh Thị Kim Biên, the Prophet’s sister.
Vinh Liem- Hoa-Hao Buddhism is not an entirely new religion in Vietnam. In fact, it is a fundamental Buddhist religion associated with two other greatest and oldest doctrines of oriental philosophy (Confucianism and Taoism) whose influences have been deep in the hearts of the Vietnamese people for centuries.
PRAYERS BEFORE THE ANCESTORS' ALTAR: Holding incense jossticks in hands and kneeling down, kowtow three times. Then pray with hands joined and touched to forehead. Recite the prayers: "I respectfully present the incense to my revered Ancestors."
